Step-by-step instructions for porting your Visible number to Phound using the Visible app's self-service Transfer PIN flow.

Porting Checklist: Visible

Visible is Verizon's prepaid carrier with its own app and account system — distinct from standard Verizon. Visible has a fully self-service port-out flow: you can grab your Transfer PIN directly in the Visible app without calling support.

Visible does not charge a port-out fee.


What You Need from Visible

  • Your Visible phone number
  • Your Visible account number
  • A Port-Out PIN (6-digit, different from your account password)
  • The billing ZIP code on your account

Step 1: Request Your Port-Out PIN and Account Number

Via the Visible App

  1. Open the Visible app.
  2. Tap Account (or go to Profile).
  3. Tap Request Transfer PIN (or "Port-Out PIN").
  4. Visible will email (and sometimes text) the owner with:
    • The Port-Out PIN
    • The account number
    • The phone number

Via Visible.com

  1. Sign in at visible.com.
  2. Navigate to your Profile / Account settings.
  3. Request the Transfer PIN — same delivery: email/text with PIN + account number.

PIN Validity

7 days from issue. Use it promptly with Phound.


Step 2: Confirm Your Billing ZIP Code

Sign in to the Visible app or website and confirm the ZIP on file matches what you'll submit to Phound. Update it if outdated.


Step 3: Make Sure Your Account is Active

  • Visible account must be active.
  • The number must not already be pending another port.
  • Don't cancel Visible service before the port completes.

Step 4: Submit Your Port Request in Phound

  1. Open PhoundSettings > Numbers > Port a Number.
  2. Enter your Visible number.
  3. Provide the account number, Port-Out PIN, and ZIP.
  4. Submit.

Track in Check Your Porting Status.

  • Typical: Minutes to a few hours (standard wireless port)
  • Can stretch to: 24–48 hours if info mismatches

Common Rejection Reasons

  • Expired Port-Out PIN (past 7 days)
  • Wrong account number — confirm from the email Visible sent you
  • ZIP mismatch
  • Number already pending another port
